Hey Techie Terms of Service

Accepting service from Hey Techie constitutes agreement to and understanding of the following terms and conditions:

Performing Services

Hey Techie employees, consultants and/or associates have my permission to complete the services they deem necessary to resolve my technological problem. Such services may include but are not limited to a diagnostic exam, reconfiguration of hardware or software, and installation/removal of hardware or software.


I understand that Hey Techie's estimates are based on the initial evaluation of the problem. If other problems are revealed in the course of service, the amount of time needed for resolution is likely to increase. Furthermore, if I decline services or the problem is irreparable, Hey Techie may charge a minimal diagnostic fee of $89.

Data Back Up

I understand that I am responsible for backing up software and data before initial services. I understand that I can request Hey Techie's standard data backup service for Microsoft Windows operating systems; this service includes My Documents, Desktop, Favorites, and Outlook/Outlook Express email. If further backup is needed or desired, I am responsible for advising Hey Techie of that need. In addition, I agree not to hold liable any Hey Techie employees, consultants and/or associates for data loss, data recovery failure, data corruption, software recovery failure, or any consequences thereof.


I understand that not all problems are solvable. I agree to accept any risks connected to services with the understanding that Hey Techie employees, consultants and/or associates can not be held liable for deficiencies of hardware or software.
